This apartment unit had a pipe burst after hours and we went on-site and extracted the standing water. We had to perform demolition to remove the drywall that could not be dried in place. Once the framing was exposed and open, we placed a dehumidifier to dry out the framing. After water damage, the framing is oftentimes assumed to just be dry. If the proper dry out is not done after the drywall is removed, the moisture on the framing can start to have mold growth. Once our demolition and drying were done the reconstruction was performed and the lobby was back in shape in no time.
